Five local associations will manage the first phase under a municipal partnership.
Source publication date:
FIDAL president Stefano Mei visited the renovated Casagrande athletics ground in Terni ahead of its planned reopening at the end of March. Regional sports leaders and city officials joined the inspection of the centrally located Umbrian facility.
Five associations signed a cooperation agreement with the municipality to manage the initial phase: Athletic Terni, Amatori Podistica, Terni Triathlon, Ternana Marathon and Pesistica Yepa. The ground will support local club activities and wider public participation.
Officials said total investment exceeded €2.5 million, including €300,000 from Fondazione Carit for equipment. Further completion work is planned through spring, with the municipality saying those works would continue without interrupting the associations’ sporting activity at the reopened site.
