Texas Open confirms four finalists after semifinal wins
Weaver and ElSherbini join Elias and Crouin in the Houston championship matches.

Olivia Weaver and Nour ElSherbini secured their places in the Texas Open women’s final, joining Diego Elias and Victor Crouin as the Gold tournament’s four finalists. The semifinal results created championship meetings at Houston Squash Club in both the men’s and women’s draws.
Weaver defeated Georgina Kennedy 11-5, 11-3, 11-4 in 30 minutes. ElSherbini held off Marina Stefanoni 11-9, 11-8, 11-9 to reach her 77th PSA final, setting another title meeting with the American No. 1.
Crouin ended compatriot Melvil Scianimanico’s run 11-6, 11-5, 11-5. Elias beat Marwan ElShorbagy in four games, conceding only one point in each of the first, third and fourth games of their encounter.
