Thurles Crokes AC welcomed the McCabes Pharmacy Fit for Life Roadshow on 17 February, bringing together nearly 40 participants despite wet conditions. The session took place at the Tipperary club’s training grounds in partnership with Athletics Ireland.
Coaches organised activities for walkers and joggers on the floodlit grass area, alongside hill work for participants seeking a more demanding session. The visiting pharmacy team also offered health checks and general wellness information during the event.
The club, established in 1965, supports the federation’s social walking and running programme for people of different abilities. Athletics Ireland said the roadshow would continue with monthly visits, combining community participation with support for local Fit for Life groups.
