Anna Trocker won the women’s slalom at the Alpine Junior World Championships in Narvik in 1:51.59. The seventeen-year-old beat Austria’s Leonie Raich by 2.29 seconds, becoming the first Italian woman to win two individual golds at one edition of the championships.

Trocker led the opening run in 55.71 seconds and completed the second in 55.88. Finland’s Aado Kanto rose from eleventh after the first run to bronze with a total of 1:55.37, while Raich secured silver in 1:53.88 despite difficult conditions.

The slalom title added to Trocker’s giant slalom gold and team combined silver with Ludovica Righi. Kanto’s medal was Finland’s second in Narvik after its team parallel silver, making the final a significant result for both nations.
