A March update described supporters' priorities and participation at the federation's annual meeting.
Source publication date:
The U.S. Soccer Fan Council reported its work at the federation's annual general meeting in Atlanta. Its March letter identified ticketing transparency, accessible matchday experiences, supporter culture and clearer communication as priorities while football organisations prepared for the home World Cup.
Council representatives participated in votes on Cindy Parlow Cone's re-election, the fiscal 2027 budget, bylaw amendments and two new member organisations. Growth in the Insiders programme had provided the council with an additional voting delegate, expanding its formal representation at the meeting.
The council also described discussions over the federation's allocation of World Cup tickets. A weighted draw gave priority to longer-standing Insiders, while supporter groups received a separate draw. Members were additionally offered the opportunity to apply for tickets to matches without the United States.
