UEFA confirmed the Europa League quarter-final pairings and kick-off times after the round of sixteen concluded. The four ties brought together Braga and Real Betis, Bologna and Aston Villa, Porto and Nottingham Forest, and Freiburg and Celta as the competition moved toward its Istanbul final.
Braga were scheduled to host Betis on Wednesday, April 8 at 18:45 CET, with the other first legs taking place the following evening. All four return matches were arranged for April 16, with Celta against Freiburg occupying the earlier kick-off slot.
The bracket paired the Braga–Betis winner with Freiburg or Celta in one semi-final. Porto or Forest would meet Bologna or Villa in the other. Semi-finals were scheduled for April 30 and May 7, ahead of the May 20 final at Besiktas Park.
