Source publication date:
UEFA Academy opened applications for its Research Grant Programme and Medical & Anti-Doping Research Grant Programme. The January call offered up to €245,000 across the programmes to support evidence-informed European football decisions.
The non-medical programme offered up to €15,000 for individual projects and €20,000 for joint work, with a 31 March deadline at 17:00 CET. A member-association support letter was required, and youth physical development pathways were a priority topic.
The medical programme offered five awards of up to €30,000 each, covering player and support-staff health and anti-doping research. Its deadline was 2 March at 17:00 CET. These were application opportunities, not announcements of completed studies or awarded grants.
