Urness wins Tignes big air and rookie-season globe
Frostad won the men’s event while Podmilsak’s third place secured the discipline title.

Naomi Urness won the women’s freeski big air finale in Tignes with 166.75 points, securing the Crystal Globe in her rookie season. She recovered from a low-scoring opening attempt by landing her next two jumps, beating Anni Karava by 0.75 points with Giulia Tanno third on 160.
The Canadian completed four consecutive podium finishes, including two victories, to end the discipline standings on 340 points. Her successful final jumps combined a right double cork 1080 and switch right bio 1080 under the lights at the French resort’s closing big air competition.
Tormod Frostad won the men’s event on 186.50, ahead of Leo Landroe’s 171. Troy Podmilsak finished third with 170.50, adding enough points to secure the men’s season trophy.
