Ursu and Chiriacova lead Moldova’s national championships
Both singles champions also collected two doubles titles during the Moldovan competition.

Vladislav Ursu and Alexandra Chiriacova won the men’s and women’s singles titles at Moldova’s national championships. Ursu finished ahead of Andrei Putuntica in the men’s event, with Denis Terna and Cezar Cozmolici taking the bronze medals.
Chiriacova topped the women’s podium ahead of Olga Bliznet. Alina Pulucciu and Valeria Cravcenco shared third place, completing the medal positions reported by the European Table Tennis Union after the national competition.
The two singles winners also joined forces to claim mixed doubles gold. Ursu partnered Putuntica to win men’s doubles, while Chiriacova and Ecaterina Sireac took the women’s doubles title. Those results gave each singles champion three titles across the programme.
