Source publication date:
USA Archery profiled archers and coaches whose experiences span generations and countries. Roger Penzotti began at a Try Archery class in Omaha at seventy-one after losing his wife, then took lessons and joined Golden Arrow Archery Club activities.
Ru Barlow described finding connections while competing in more than 21 countries. Shooting in the United States introduced him to compound archery before he represented Scotland, set British records and earned World Masters Games silver in Abu Dhabi.
Thomas Powell turned from a thirty-year engineering career to coaching in Oregon, becoming a Level 4 NTS coach. The feature also highlighted eleven-year-old Louisiana competitor Brayden Castille and sixteen-year-old Virginia instructor Jedd Winebarger, who helps younger archers through school and club programmes.
