USA's outside shooting overwhelms Tall Ferns in San Juan
Rhyne Howard led the scoring as the Americans won 101–46 despite a competitive opening from New Zealand.

The United States defeated New Zealand 101–46 in the Tall Ferns' fourth women's World Cup qualifying match in San Juan. New Zealand briefly led in the opening quarter before a seventeen point to one American run changed the course of the game.
The USA made six three pointers in the second quarter and led 54–18 at half-time. Rhyne Howard finished with eighteen points, while Caitlin Clark added fourteen and six assists as the unbeaten Americans continued their tournament campaign.
Sharne Robati scored eleven for New Zealand, which produced its strongest attacking quarter after the interval with 21 points. Coach Nat Hurst welcomed the team's improved aggression following the previous loss, and captain Tayla Dalton valued the opportunity to compete against leading international players.
