UVSE defeated Olympiacos 16–15 in the women’s Champions League, with Panna Tiba scoring the winner twenty-two seconds from the end. Tiba finished with four goals as the Hungarian club protected its prospects of reaching the quarterfinals.

UVSE had led 14–9 early in the fourth quarter before Olympiacos scored five goals in less than two minutes. Further exchanges brought the score to 15–15 before Tiba settled the match, completing a dramatic final period.

DFVE beat Alimos 14–9, leaving Olympiacos on twelve points and both UVSE and DFVE on nine in the unresolved group. Mataro, Sabadell, Sant Andreu, Roma, FTC and Vouliagmeni had secured the six quarterfinal places available in the other groups.
