Wang wins Olympic men’s aerials gold
The Chinese skier beat Roth and Li two days after wife Xu won the women’s title.

Wang Xindi won Olympic men’s aerials gold in Livigno with 132.60 points, two days after wife Xu Mengtao won the women’s title. Switzerland’s Noé Roth claimed silver with 131.58, while China’s Li Tianma earned bronze on 123.93.
All three medallists performed the same back double full-double full-full, carrying a difficulty value of 5.100. Wang’s clean execution gave him the highest mark, while Roth’s final jump prevented China from taking all three podium positions.
Sun Jiaxu missed bronze by 0.51 points in fourth. Pirmin Werner finished fifth and defending champion Qi Guangpu sixth, leaving Wang to secure his first Olympic title at his third Games appearance and a second aerials gold for his family.
