The Welsh National Championships were scheduled for 21–22 March at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff. The event at Sophia Gardens will bring together players across senior, junior, veteran and para categories, with singles and doubles competitions spread over the two days.

Play was due to begin at 08:45 each morning. Saturday’s programme included junior and cadet singles, younger age groups, veteran events and mixed doubles, while Sunday placed the senior singles alongside para and further veteran competitions.

Callum Evans was identified as the defending men’s champion after eight consecutive titles. Anna Hursey had won the previous women’s event for a third successive year, beating Charlotte Carey in the final before the championships returned to Cardiff.
