Lily Dhawornvej secured the women’s snowboard slopestyle Crystal Globe after persistent wind cancelled the Silvaplana finale. The sixteen-year-old American ended her second season on the circuit with 169 points, earned through two podiums and a ninth-place finish across the three completed World Cup competitions.

Officials had cancelled women’s qualification and planned to admit all nineteen starters directly into Sunday’s final. Continued high winds prevented that revised programme from proceeding, following several earlier postponements and cancellations during the Swiss week of snowboard and freeski competition at Corvatsch.

Dhawornvej’s points came from second in Laax, ninth in Snowmass and third in Flachau. Her season also included an Olympic appearance and junior world title before the final opportunity to add World Cup points disappeared.
