Winter and Han set all-German Montreux semifinal
Yuan and Szocs completed the women’s last four and also secured World Cup places.

Sabine Winter, Han Ying, Jia Nan Yuan and Bernadette Szocs reached the women’s Europe Top 16 semifinals in Montreux. The four quarterfinal winners also secured direct entry to the ITTF Singles World Cup through the event’s qualification pathway.
Top seed Winter recovered from losing the opening game against Maria Xiao to win 3–1. Yuan defeated European champion Sofia Polcanova in straight games after taking a closely contested first game 19–17.
Defending champion Han twice saw Fu Yu level their match before winning the decider 11–4. Szocs ended qualifier Charlotte Lutz’s run with a four-game victory, establishing a semifinal against Yuan while Winter and Han prepared for an all-German contest.
