Woods wins Olympic moguls gold on turns tiebreak
The Australian and Kingsbury both scored 83.71 points, with Woods winning the deciding component.

Cooper Woods won Olympic men’s moguls gold after tying Mikaël Kingsbury on 83.71 points in the Livigno super final. The Australian prevailed through the turns component, scoring 48.4 compared with the Canadian’s 47.7.
Woods completed his decisive run in 22.61 seconds after landing a back double full and cork seven. Kingsbury’s run took 22.79 seconds and included a back double full and cork ten, but the higher turns score determined the title.
Japan’s Ikuma Horishima won bronze with 83.44 points, while defending champion Walter Wallberg finished fourth on 82.40. Woods had entered the Games with only one World Cup podium, making the Olympic final the most significant victory of his career.
