Thailand’s Worapeerachayakorn and Naraphornrapat win Asian Beach Games gold
The Thai pair overturned a pool defeat and beat Japan’s Matsumoto sisters in straight sets in the Sanya final.

Thailand’s Worapeerachayakorn Kongphopsarutawadee and Taravadee Naraphornrapat won the Sanya 2026 Asian Beach Games women’s championship on 29 April, beating Japan’s Non Matsumoto and Ren Matsumoto 21-17, 21-15.
The champions recovered from dropping the first set of their quarterfinal against China’s Jiang Kaiyue and Dong Jie, then completed the event with six victories. Jiang and Dong won the bronze medal.
