Jed Ward’s penalty save helped establish a 1–0 away victory.
Source publication date:
Yeovil Town won 1–0 at Altrincham through Terrell Works's 87th-minute goal. The substitute converted into an open net after Luke Hutchinson saved Luke McCormick's initial effort, giving the visitors a late breakthrough in a closely contested match.
Jed Ward had earlier saved Jimmy Knowles's penalty, awarded after Joy Mukena brought down Kahrel Reddin. Ward also denied Matty Kosylo and Reddin after the restart to keep the game level while both sides sought an opening.
Troy Perrett threatened for Yeovil and Dan Sassi hit the crossbar for Altrincham. James Daly later supplied McCormick for the move that produced Works's decisive rebound finish. Yeovil resisted the remaining pressure to take all three points.
