Haney heads World Archery’s annual award recipients
The March announcement recognised achievements from the 2025 season.
Source publication date:
Emircan Haney was named best archer in World Archery’s awards for 2025, announced in March 2026. His award was decided by public voting, while panels selected the recipients in the other established categories.
Sheetal Devi received the para award and Baptiste Addis the young-archer honour. Elias Cuesta was recognised as coach, Lais Machado Nunes as judge and Korea’s men’s recurve squad as team. Florent Mulot received the fair-play award.
Gwangju 2025 was selected as best event in a new category decided by the federation’s Executive Board. The announcement belongs to the 2026 news archive, but the awards assess the preceding season; they do not describe new competition results recorded in March.
