FIS announced international Disney+ availability for the ESPN documentary series On the Edge: World Cup Ski Racing. The five-part production follows the 2025–26 alpine World Cup season and its athletes, extending distribution after the series’ debut in the United States.
The filming programme covers major World Cup venues including Beaver Creek, Courchevel, Kitzbühel, Wengen and Flachau before concluding with the season finale in Norway. The series combines racing coverage with access to competitors’ preparation and life away from the slopes.
The international release arrived after the Olympic alpine programme at Milano Cortina. FIS presented the project as a way for audiences to continue following the athletes and the World Cup through the remaining months of the season.
