Source publication date:
World Rugby extended its official apparel partnership with Macron through 2029. The relationship, established in 2022, retained Macron’s role supplying sports apparel for Rugby World Cup tournaments and uniforms for match officials.
The extension covered the men’s 2027 and women’s 2029 Rugby World Cups in Australia alongside the annual competition programme, including SVNS. Technical and leisure clothing for staff and volunteers, plus official merchandising collections, remained part of the arrangement.
The federation also confirmed continued provision of Emirates-branded match official uniforms, including a design for women officials. It described the official apparel as using fabrics made entirely from recycled materials. No financial value was established in the public announcement.
