Source publication date:
Worthing's under-18 side beat Selsey's under-18s 4–2 after establishing a four-goal lead. Freddie Kotot opened the scoring with an early chipped finish, and Jessie Jones added a curling shot shortly before halftime.
Selsey were reduced to ten players before the interval but threatened after the restart, hitting the crossbar and having a goal ruled out for offside. Worthing recovered control and scored twice in quick succession through Bobby Lee and Tidjahn Mienimona.
The visitors replied with a close-range finish and a later headed goal from a corner. Worthing nevertheless regained composure and used the space available to protect their advantage through the final stages, completing a victory despite the late response.
