Yeovil defeat Telford to reach Trophy quarterfinals
An own goal and Tahvon Campbell’s finish secured a 2–0 win.
Source publication date:
Yeovil Town reached the FA Trophy quarterfinals with a 2–0 victory at AFC Telford United. An own goal from Amaar Dyer gave the visitors their first-half advantage, and Tahvon Campbell doubled the lead shortly after the hour.
Josh Sims and Harvey Greenslade created early problems for the home defence. Greenslade eventually supplied the cross that Dyer diverted into his own net, while Joy Mukena also threatened during his first Yeovil start.
Campbell capitalised on a defensive mix-up to score the second, finishing calmly past Josh Gracey. Yeovil then limited Telford's opportunities and introduced academy graduates Jaydon Biss and Liam Nardiello for their club debuts before seeing out the match and confirming progression.
