Youth beach handball teams learn Zagreb European opponents
The under-seventeen draw assigned sixteen men’s and seventeen women’s teams to preliminary groups.

The EHF completed the preliminary-round draw for the 2026 under-seventeen European beach handball championships. Sixteen men’s teams and seventeen women’s sides will compete at the Jarun Sports and Recreation Centre in Zagreb from 1 to 5 July.
Croatia exercised the host’s right to choose a group, selecting group D in the women’s tournament and group C for the men. The women’s defending champions Spain will open against Ukraine, Slovakia and Romania, while runners-up Norway meet Hungary, Sweden and Italy.
Germany begin their men’s title defence in a group with Czechia, Sweden and Serbia. Spain, the previous men’s silver medallists, face France, Ukraine and Türkiye. The women’s field includes one five-team group, with the other groups containing four teams.
