Niels Vink defeated fellow Dutch player Sam Schröder 6-3, 7-6(5) in the quad wheelchair singles final. The second set demanded a tie-break, but Vink closed the match in straight sets to win his first singles crown at Melbourne Park.

With Grand Slam titles at Roland Garros, Wimbledon, the US Open and now the Australian Open—alongside Paralympic gold—Vink completed a career Golden Slam. The final was also another chapter in one of quad tennis's defining rivalries.
