China top a record-breaking Paralympic Winter Games
China finished with 44 medals as Italy set a national Winter Paralympic record with 16.

China led the medal table with 15 gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze medals. The United States was second by gold medals and Russia third.
Host nation Italy reached 16 medals, surpassing its previous Winter Paralympic best, as the Games closed in Cortina.
