Kimi Antonelli climbed from 19th on the grid to win his home Italian Grand Prix after passing Mercedes team-mate George Russell in the closing laps.

Russell finished 3.857 seconds behind and Max Verstappen completed the podium. A mid-race Virtual Safety Car helped Antonelli switch to fresh medium tyres for the decisive final phase.
