Nicolò Bulega became the 2026 FIM Superbike World Champion by finishing second in Race 2 at Cremona. The Ducati rider needed a top-five result to make the points lead uncatchable and completed the title with six races remaining.

Iker Lecuona won the race by 8.590 seconds from Bulega and completed his first WorldSBK weekend sweep after also taking Race 1 and the Superpole Race. Yari Montella finished third, 12.724 seconds behind the winner.

The championship result is a new, confirmed stage of the Italian Round rather than a repeat of Saturday’s Race 1 report. The title and Sunday’s completed results were published by WorldSBK after the race.
