Remco Evenepoel covered the 39.2-kilometre course in 44:53.13 to win a record fourth consecutive elite men’s individual time-trial world title. Filippo Ganna took silver and Paul Seixas bronze.

Marlen Reusser retained the women’s title on her 35th birthday in 50:24.44. Zoe Bäckstedt and Franziska Koch completed the podium.
