Germany secured ninth place at the Men’s EHF EURO 2000 with a 19–17 victory over Denmark in Rijeka on 29 January. Bernd Roos led Germany with six goals, Markus Baur added five and Frank von Behren three. Lars Christiansen also scored six for Denmark, whose next-highest contributor was Joachim Boldsen with three.
