Flavio Abbate and Alvaro Montiel won the FIP Bronze tournament in Agadir after renewing a partnership that had delivered three titles last year. Seeded fourth, the Italians came through a three-set final to claim the trophy in Morocco.

They beat Marco Cassetta and Mario Huete 6-3, 2-6, 7-5, recovering from the loss of the second set to settle a close deciding set. The victory earned the pair the 40 ranking points available at the Bronze event.

The result also moved both players higher in the FIP standings. Abbate climbed seven positions to No. 71, while Montiel improved six places to No. 80 following the successful start to their reunited campaign.
