Afghanistan defeated Scotland by 61 runs in Bengaluru at the start of the Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up schedule. Darwish Rasooli scored 84 in a total of 184/6, while Azmatullah Omarzai’s 3/14 helped dismiss Scotland for 123.

India A beat the United States by 38 runs in Navi Mumbai after posting 238/3. Narayan Jagadeesan made 104 from 55 deliveries, Ayush Badoni added an unbeaten 60 and Tilak Varma contributed 38 on his return from injury. Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets in the chase.

Italy completed the day’s winners with a ten-run victory over Canada. JJ Smuts made 49 and Harry Manenti 33 in Italy’s 156/4, before Canada finished on 146. The ICC combined the three preparation fixtures in one report.
