Almaty concludes Asia’s Hopes development programme
Thirty-nine young players and 24 coaches joined technical training and competitive assessment.

The ITTF-ATTU Asia Hopes Week and Challenge concluded in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with a six-day programme at ADD Ustel Tennis Ortalygy. The federation published its report on 5 August 2026.
The programme involved 39 young players from 14 member associations: 21 boys and 18 girls. Twenty-four coaches participated alongside them. Activities combined technical and tactical work with physical development and competitive assessment.
The event formed part of the pathway towards the World Hopes programme in Sheffield. The official update described continental representation as subject to confirmation, so this report does not invent a final selection list. The main verified outcome is the completed regional training and assessment programme.
