Amsterdam draw determines men's and women's Hockey World Cup pools
Thirty-two national teams learned their groups for the shared Belgium–Netherlands tournament.

The Hockey World Cup draw at Wagener Stadium determined four men's and four women's groups for the August tournament. Amsterdam and Wavre will share hosting duties, with each group assigned to one country for its opening phase of competition.
The Dutch women's team drew Australia, Chile and Japan, while Argentina joined Germany, the United States and Scotland. The Belgian women's group includes Spain, New Zealand and Ireland; China, England, India and South Africa complete the remaining pool.
In the men's draw, England, India, Pakistan and Wales were grouped together, while Belgium will face Germany, France and Malaysia. Hockey figures Naomie van As, Barbara Neelen and Teun de Nooijer participated in the ceremony, which also introduced two World Cup mascots.
