Guangdong and Peking universities qualify for Macau
Chinese teams won both titles at the Asian university 3x3 championship.

Guangdong University of Technology won the men’s title and Peking University took women’s gold at the eighth Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship. The event in Zhoushan’s Putuo District served as the Asian World Cup qualifier.
The championship brought together 23 teams from nine countries and regions, divided into thirteen men’s and ten women’s entries. Both winners earned the right to represent the continent in Macau in October.
Tsinghua University and Mongolia’s Royal University completed the men’s podium. The women’s silver went to Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with Iran’s Islamic Azad University taking bronze.
