Auckland and Cape Town chosen for FIH Nations Cup events
The fourth editions will offer winners a route into the next Hockey Pro League season.

FIH announced New Zealand and South Africa as hosts of the women's and men's Nations Cup respectively. Auckland will stage the women's competition from 15 to 21 June, while Cape Town's men's tournament was scheduled from 11 to 20 June.
The winners will be offered promotion to the 2026–27 Hockey Pro League. The men's field includes promoted Scotland and relegated Ireland, while the women's event includes France after its Nations Cup 2 success and India following Pro League relegation.
The Nations Cup was created to provide high-level competition for leading teams outside the Pro League. New Zealand's men won the two most recent editions, while India, Spain and New Zealand had each won a women's title before the fourth tournament's hosting announcement.
