The Australian Open announced its widest broadcast coverage ahead of the 10–15 March tournament in Brisbane. Fox Sports Australia and Kayo were to show live action from the semifinals, while SBS planned on-demand coverage beginning with the quarterfinals at South Bank Piazza.

Ticket sales were reported eleven percent above the previous year, with thousands of spectators expected across the six-day event. The glass court programme featured leading players including Paul Coll and Sivasangari Subramaniam alongside Australian participants such as Madison Lyon and Joseph White.

Squash Australia chief executive Robert Donaghue welcomed the stronger demand and broader national viewing access. South Bank Piazza was described as a proposed Brisbane 2032 Olympic venue, while squash’s first Olympic competition was set for Los Angeles 2028, adding context to the tournament’s growth.
