Five away victories shaped round four of the women’s European League group phase. Motherson won at Larvik to end the Norwegian club’s hopes of a top-two finish, while Tertnes defeated Lokomotiva Zagreb and Rapid Bucuresti won at Oldenburg.
Baia Mare and Esztergom secured home victories in the featured matches. Baia Mare recovered from an early deficit against defending champions Thüringer, with Jessica Quintino Ribeiro scoring eight goals and goalkeeper Yuliya Dumanska contributing eleven saves in the Romanian side’s success.
Esztergom overturned a four-goal second-half deficit against Chambray. A missed late penalty denied the French club an equaliser before Anna Ballai scored at the other end. Dijon and Viborg maintained their strong group D positions, while Nykøbing Falster drew with Blomberg-Lippe.
