Barcelona Women defeated Atlético Madrid 5-0, turning an early advantage into a commanding league victory. Alexia Putellas opened the scoring after three minutes, and Clàudia Pina added a deflected second on her 200th competitive appearance for the club.
Esmée Brugts increased the lead in the 58th minute before Pina struck again, following up an Ewa Pajor attempt. Barcelona maintained control throughout a match that also recognised Mapi León’s 300 appearances and Pajor’s December player award.
Salma Paralluelo completed the scoring in stoppage time after returning from a two-month injury absence, with Pajor providing the assist. The win added three points to Barcelona’s advantage after second-placed Real Madrid had lost to Athletic Club the previous day.
