Belgium’s women defeated Germany and the Dutch women beat England to preserve their unbeaten starts to the Pro League season. The results came during another day of parallel competition in Spain and China, with both successful sides securing regulation points.
England’s men drew 2–2 with the Netherlands in Valencia before winning the shootout 3–1. Zack Wallace opened the scoring in the eighth minute during an encounter that offered genuine attacking opportunities to both teams in the opening exchanges.
England came close to securing an outright victory but ultimately relied on a strong shootout performance for the additional point.
