Amine Adli scored deep in added time to give Bournemouth a 3–2 victory over Liverpool at the Vitality Stadium. The winner came after Liverpool had fought back from two goals behind.
Evanilson opened the scoring in the twenty-sixth minute and Alex Jiménez doubled the advantage seven minutes later. Virgil van Dijk reduced the deficit before half-time, heading in from Dominik Szoboszlai’s corner.
Szoboszlai equalised with an eightieth-minute free-kick, but Bournemouth retained an attacking threat. Adli finished following a late long throw, ending Liverpool’s ten-match unbeaten Premier League run and extending their league winless sequence to five games.
