Al Ahly win as Al-Hilal hold Sundowns
Trezeguet’s double lifted Al Ahly to the group summit, while another brace secured Al-Hilal a point.

Al Ahly defeated Young Africans 2-0 in Alexandria to take first place in CAF Champions League Group B. Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet scored in first-half stoppage time and again in the 75th minute, moving the Egyptian club to seven points.
Goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir made important saves as the Tanzanian visitors threatened before and after the opening goal. Mohamed Hany supplied the cross for Trezeguet’s header, and the forward later finished powerfully from inside the penalty area.
Elsewhere, Mamelodi Sundowns drew 2-2 with Al-Hilal at Loftus Versfeld. Omer Abdelrazig scored twice for the Sudanese side, answering goals from Arthur Sales and Teboho Mokoena. Al-Hilal finished with ten players after Emmanuel Flommo’s dismissal but preserved the draw.
