Safi and Singida secure narrow Confederation Cup wins
Olympic Safi won away while Singida Black Stars protected a one-goal home advantage.

Olympic Safi and Singida Black Stars moved into second place in their respective CAF Confederation Cup groups after tight Matchday 3 victories. Safi defeated San Pédro 2-1 away, while Singida beat Otôho d’Oyo 1-0.
Imad Khannouss put Safi ahead in the first minute. Aboubakar Karamoko equalised for San Pédro, but Sofiane El Moudane restored the visitors’ lead from the penalty spot before half-time after Khannouss was fouled inside the area.
In the other contest, Elvis Rupia scored in the 37th minute to settle the result. Otôho created second-half opportunities, including Japhet Mankou’s effort saved by Metacha Mnata, but Singida resisted the pressure and avoided conceding from a stoppage-time corner.
