China PR recover to top their Asian Cup group
A 2-1 win over DPR Korea completed a perfect Group B campaign.

China PR came from behind to defeat DPR Korea 2-1 at the Women’s Asian Cup and finish first in Group B. Both sides had already qualified, but the result shaped their quarter-final opponents and gave the defending champions three wins from three matches.
Kim Kyong Yong opened the scoring after Han Jin Hong advanced down the right and supplied a cutback. China PR replied almost immediately, with Chen Qiaozhu finishing after DPR Korea could not clear a corner.
Wang Shuang scored from close range before half-time following a free-kick move. DPR Korea searched for an equaliser after the interval and had a late effort ruled out for offside, while China PR defended their advantage to secure the group’s top position.
