Maggie Coles-Lyster won the women’s one-day race in Tanunda after recovering from a crash with two laps remaining. The Human Powered Health sprinter regained the peloton and completed the comeback with victory on Murray Street.
The Canadian said she needed four kilometres to return to the main group after the incident. Her result followed successful iliac artery surgery in 2025, adding a personal recovery story to what the organisers described as her biggest ProSeries success.
The field raced twelve laps of an 8.5-kilometre circuit after the men’s Tour Down Under stage. Alessia Vigilia won the intermediate sprint classification with eight points, taking the final sprint to complete another productive outing in South Australia.
