Colombia announce Costa Rica World Cup send-off

Colombia announced a pre-World Cup friendly against Costa Rica at Bogotá’s Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campín. Néstor Lorenzo’s senior national team was scheduled to play on 1 June in its final appearance before home supporters ahead of the global tournament.
The federation set kickoff for 6pm Colombian time and confirmed television coverage through RCN and Caracol. The fixture placed Colombia’s send-off programme in the capital, allowing supporters to watch the squad before its participation in the 2026 World Cup.
Costa Rica were named as the opponents for this concluding home preparation match. The announcement specified the stadium, date, kickoff time and broadcasters, establishing the arrangements for Lorenzo’s side as its final World Cup preparations moved toward the June tournament.
