Colombia women’s under-17 training squad named

Colombia announced a women’s under-17 training squad under coach Carlos Paniagua for a March preparation camp. Twenty-five players were selected to assemble at the federation’s Bogotá centre from 14 to 22 March ahead of the South American championship.
The list included representatives of Santa Fe, Millonarios, Deportivo Cali, Atlético Nacional and América de Cali. Joy Palacios, Nicoles Ríos Mejía and Valentina Huertas were named from clubs in the United States, bringing overseas-based players into the announced group.
Paniagua’s staff included assistant Michael Flórez, physical trainer Viviana Cardona and goalkeeper coach Carlos Pérez. The camp formed part of Colombia’s build-up to the continental under-17 event, with the federation confirming both the selected players and the training location.
