Concacaf launched its Beautiful Obsession campaign and Juego de Campeones documentary series as the Champions Cup prepared to resume. The round of 16 would feature eight two-leg ties beginning on 10 March, bringing eleven first-round winners together with five directly seeded clubs.

Toluca, Inter Miami, Alajuelense, Mount Pleasant and Seattle entered at this stage through domestic or regional qualification. Aggregate winners would advance to the quarterfinals, continuing toward a single-match final scheduled for 30 May in the region’s premier men’s club competition.

The documentary, produced with Offline Sports, offered access behind the scenes of the 2025 tournament. Its first episode aired on 8 March, followed by two further Sunday episodes. The 2026 champions would qualify for both the Intercontinental Cup and the 2029 Club World Cup.
