A second place on the final climb secured a comfortable overall title.
Source publication date:
Jessie Diggins won her third Tour de Ski title after finishing second in the final 10km freestyle mass start in Val di Fiemme. The American completed the six-stage competition more than two minutes and seventeen seconds ahead of Teresa Stadlober, with Heidi Weng third overall.
Karoline Simpson-Larsen won the concluding climb up Alpe Cermis. Diggins made a late push to beat Weng and Stadlober for second in the stage, protecting the advantage built through two wins and four podiums across the Tour.
Diggins became the third most successful woman in Tour history, behind four-time champions Therese Johaug and Justyna Kowalczyk. Her last Tour before retirement also increased her overall World Cup lead to 184 points over Moa Ilar.
